Guess Who's Back

Happy 2019! Celebrating with the neighbors.

Rylee turns 7!  She has been counting down to a skating party since last Fall (when we bid on a Sparkles party at the Fall Festival).

Her bestie Kailyn happens to have a birthday in January too... so more partying was necessary.  This time at Lakepoint Station.

Ava won't admit it, but I think she is starting to enjoy The Social Class with her girlfriends.

Bryce had a blast at the Fifth Grade Lock In.  I walked in to volunteer and couldn't find him.  Sure enough he was performing "the worm" on the dance floor.

Rylee has been enjoying swim team.  Her sweet teacher came to cheer on her and her classmate Owen.

Christmas Eve and Day

Christmas Eve we took the kids to the Melting Pot for dinner before church.  We came home to read the Christmas story, sprinkle reindeer food, and track Santa's progress.  Apparently, I was slacking on the photos, but it is usually a busy night of making memories.

And then.... while we were sleeping...

Early Brace Christmas

Since we traveled to Florida for Thanksgiving, the Brace fam was kind enough to travel to us in December.  It makes us so happy that our children are so close to their cousins on both sides of the family.  I hope they look to them as extended siblings for the rest of their lives.

As shown in the last picture, we had another visitor too!

Again, I have hundreds of pictures from various cameras including Santa's elf...

Even the adults got in on the action.

Ho Ho Ho!

Rylee's Preschool Christmas Program

We might have to find a way to include the video.  Rylee thoroughly enjoyed "performing" at her Christmas program for her little preschool.

Some cute spectators as well...

I figure it is also a good post to add some cute shots that her school took throughout the year so far.

We are thankful for our sweet friends and teachers at St. T's.

Another weekend... another Santa sighting

This time, we joined Santa for brunch at the club.  I have to live up these moments while by kids still humor me and occasionally smile for a photo or two.

The HOA also hosted a fun and festive event with Christmas lists, crafts and a train.  I think we bypassed Santa since we had already "seen" him that morning.  :)

Christmas Piano Recital

Here's another post where a video would probably make more sense.  I do want to print in a book though so still photos will have to suffice.  Ava and Bryce (as did all of Ms. Rebecca's students) did a beautiful job playing Christmas carols at a local nursing home.  We are very proud.  Bryce just started piano in August when we moved back and Ava jumped right back where she left off.  They also played at the local mall to entertain holiday shoppers.

Fantasy in Lights

We spent one night at Callaway Gardens to checkout the Fantasy in Lights.  The crowds were high, but we enjoyed the family time (and cocoa).

There were a few characters who joined us at breakfast.  We also checked out the butterfly garden on our way out of town.  We can't wait to come back when the weather is warmer.
